Manufacturing process of white fused alumina grinding powder

The raw material of white fused alumina is Al2o3 crystal of furnace core material or bulk material of grinding wheel factory, the content is more than 98.5%, and its particle size is 36 #, 46 #, 100 #. The content of SiO2 in the raw material used should be as little as possible to prepare white fused alumina grinding powder.

The equipments used include ball mills (the barrel specifications are 150X300, 260X300, and 350X500), glass cylinders (300X500), high-temperature electric furnaces, ovens, washing tanks and ventilation boxes.

Put a group of quenched steel ball copper raw materials with different diameters into the drum, add water, put a rubber squeegee to seal the cover, then rotate the drum, and crush the abrasive under the percussion of the steel ball.

The purpose is to wash off the iron impurities in the abrasive, followed by pickling and water washing, and then sorting in the glass tank by the water sorting method.

In the drying box, heat up to 100 ~ 200 ℃ and dry, and grind the agglomeration with a glass grinding rod or a horn spoon after the drying.

Put the white fused alumina grinding powder into the electric furnace or muffle furnace, from normal temperature to 850 degrees, sometimes up to 1200 degrees for W0.5-w1 grinding powder, and then keep it for 5 hours.

The abrasives used in embedded grinding and fine polishing need to be treated. The soaking requirements are: 0.4g of stearic acid, 20g of grinding powder, and 200ml of aviation gasoline, and soaked in a ground glass bottle for more than seven days.
