Black corundum is an important industrial abrasive commonly used for
grinding and polishing various materials. It is mainly made of electrofused aluminium oxide (i.e. corundum) and has the following characteristics:
High hardness: black steel jade is very hard, usually around 9 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamond and silicon carbide. This makes it ideal for machining hard materials.
Good wear resistance: Due to its high hardness, Black Steel Jade does not wear out easily during use and has a long service life.
Chemical Stability: Black Steel Jade has good resistance to acids, alkalis and other chemicals, and is not prone to chemical reactions, so it can maintain its
grinding performance in a wide range of environments.
Widely used: Black Steel Jade is widely used in metal processing, glass, ceramics and other industries, mainly for cutting,
grinding and polishing. In addition, it is also commonly used in the manufacture of high-grade refractory materials and other high-temperature resistant products.
